A History of Britain's Parliamentary Constituencies
This publication has now become one of the standard works of reference in the field, stocked by most public libraries, essential for local studies collections, parliamentary candidates, local politicians and journalists, and for interested readers at public libraries.
This work, continuously updated, provides the latest information on all constituencies, based upon their heritage of past boundaries, political make-ups and current and former Members of Parliament, all the way back to the nineteenth century.
The publication now has an edited summary for each constituency, and the elections results tabulation has been extended back to the 1918 general election. Now in its twentythird edition, and very considerably revised and expanded, the publication is fully cross-referenced. It is continuously revised to include the 2017 general election result, subsequent by-election results, and other changes. It is published in separate volumes for counties, cities and boroughs.
