    "The Dictionary of Liberal Thought" is an accessible alphabetical guide to the key figures, ideas, groups and major theoretical works associated with the British liberal-democratic tradition from the seventeenth century to the present day. It also covers the US and European liberal traditions. The compass of the dictionary is broad, taking in liberal, social democrat and libertarian thinkers, publicists and pressure groups. It will be the first dictionary of liberal political thought ever published. Entries include suggestions for further reading where appropriate. Contributors include Shirely Williams, Ralf Dahrendorf and Michael Meadowcroft.
