About Susan M. Collins (Editor) and Lael Brainard (Editor)

Susan M. Collins is a senior fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution and a professor of economics at Georgetown University. Her publications focus on various dimensions of economic policy and performance for developing countries. Lael Brainard was vice president and director of the Global Economy and Development Program at the Brookings Institution, where she held the Bernard E. Schwartz Chair in International Economics. Brainard served as deputy national economic adviser in the Clinton administration.
